What is SupleMonitor?

SupleMonitor is, as far as we know, one of the first solutions focused on monitoring cattle and buffalo supplementation. It is in pre-launch, will be available soon, and enables you to:

  • Monitor livestock supplementation.
  • Easily compare what was planned (theoretical) vs what was delivered (actual).
  • Keep track of inventory and the actual cost of supplements delivered (concentrates, mineral salts, protein supplements, energy supplements, etc.).

To do this, SupleMonitor lets you configure the plan (theoretical) by supplement, lot/group, and date; record the actual (what is truly delivered) in the field; and view the plan vs actual comparison, including compliance, differences, and traceability.

With visibility by:

  • Lot or group.
  • Day/date.
  • (Optional) delivery time and location.
Core idea

In many operations, supplementation is done “by habit” or “from memory”. SupleMonitor aims to turn it into a precise, measurable, auditable, and manageable process.

Planning → Execution → Control

The gap it fills

Many ranches supplement, but they lack a simple yet robust system that answers questions like:

  • Are deliveries happening when they should?
  • Are the correct amounts being delivered?
  • Which lots/groups are drifting off plan?
  • How much are we actually spending on supplements per period?
  • How well is the plan being followed?
  • Where is inventory lost or deviations created?
  • Which supplement is being consumed more/less than expected?

Why is it important to monitor livestock supplementation?

Monitoring supplementation is not “just keeping a log”: it is controlling one of the most costly and decisive levers of herd performance. It ensures that what is planned nutritionally is actually executed in the field. This matters because it:

  • Ensures compliance with the nutrition plan (knowing whether each lot receives what it should).
  • Helps detect deviations in time (shortages/excesses) and correct them before results are affected.
  • Reduces inventory losses and leakage (when inventory doesn’t reconcile, it’s often due to lack of traceability).
  • Controls the actual cost per period (to understand the real cost of supplementation and how it changes over time).
  • Improves discipline and coordination between the field and administration (because everything is recorded).
  • Enables you to learn from data and adjust the plan (not just from perceptions).

How it works (3 steps)

1

Set up the plan

By lot/group, supplement, and dates.

  • In kg or lb or bags (depending on your operation).
  • Define theoretical frequencies and amounts.
2

Record the actual

Have your team record each actual delivery in the field (every time it happens), using the SupleMonitor app for Android devices, even without an internet connection.

  • Fast and practical for daily operations.
  • Attach evidence with photos and/or location (optional).
  • Syncs when internet is available.
3

View plan vs actual

Reports for control and analysis.

  • Compliance and differences.
  • Delivery frequency by lot.
  • Out-of-plan deliveries.
  • Reports for control and analysis.

Concrete benefits

✓
Frequency control: know whether each lot is receiving on schedule.
✓
Quantity control: clear differences between planned and delivered.
✓
Traceability: history by lot and date for audit and learning.
✓
Operational discipline: less variation between operators/shifts.
✓
Better management: decisions based on data, not assumptions.
✓
Clearer inventory: issues linked to deliveries and adjustments.
✓
Accurate costs: reliable information on the actual cost of delivered supplements and inventory.
✓
Multi-ranch operation: per-ranch and consolidated reports.

Who is it for?

SupleMonitor is designed for ranches that want better control and traceability of supplementation, for example:

  • Operations with multiple lots/groups.
  • Frequent supplementation (daily/every other day/weekly).
  • It also applies if your setup is simpler (e.g., salt/mineral feeder or free-choice intake) and you want to measure and control it better.

What SupleMonitor includes

  • Catalogs (Web): supplements, presentations/equivalences (kg/lb/bags), lots/groups, and basic ranch setup.
  • Supplementation plans (Web): create and edit plans by lot/group, supplement, and date, defining amounts and frequencies. Import plans from an Excel template.
  • Agenda / “Today’s theoretical” (Android): daily list of expected deliveries by lot to facilitate field execution.
  • Actual delivery logging (Android): capture actual deliveries (amounts), including out-of-plan deliveries when applicable. Works with or without connectivity (offline).
  • Evidence (Android): attach photos (optional) and record location/GPS (optional) as operational support.
  • Inventory / Kardex (Web): inbound/outbound movements linked to deliveries, basic adjustments, stock visibility, and inventory valuation.
  • Actual supplementation cost reports.
  • Basic purchasing planning for supplement replenishment and low-inventory alerts.
  • Plan vs actual report (Web): compliance and differences by lot/group and period, with essential indicators.
  • Exports (Web): basic report exports (e.g., to Excel/PDF as applicable).
  • Users and roles (Web): manage ranch users with differentiated permissions for administration and operations.
  • Offline operation and sync (Android): operate with limited connectivity and sync when signal is available.
  • Multi-ranch operation: administration and reporting per ranch and consolidated.

Frequently asked questions

Is the solution available yet?

No. It is in the final stage of development, about to start field trials and in pre-launch. We are building a waitlist that we will notify as soon as the solution is available for general use.

What do I get if I sign up?
  • A notification when it becomes available.
  • 1 month free at launch.
  • No credit card and no long-term commitment.
Can I use it with poor signal on the ranch?

Yes. The solution is designed to be practical in the field and work with limited connectivity. Operators can record offline the actual supplementation through the Android app, and once they have internet access, sync.

Will you ask for a credit card for the free month?

No. The free month is without a card and without a long-term commitment.
